Photographic proof that I really can change shape!
Me and Grandma
edit: September 5th, 2007
I got a call from my dad yesterday, saying that Grandma is ready to go now. Two weeks ago she had a bad fall and has been in ICU ever since ... but at 94 and after a full, active life, she is ready to go to sleep.
I am trying to keep my heart open as I go about my daily business, ready to hold out my hand for a moment if she should pass by me on her way to somewhere else ... what more can I do, she's 3000 miles away. I don't want to fly there for a couple of days just to be treated like the ingrate prodigal daughter by the surviving members of my family. Is that selfish?
Does she know that I am with her?

We had horses when I was a kid too.
Your Grandma reminds me of my Great Grandma Nummy (Jennie).
Nice jag of stove wood back there.
Chocolate is the mama of Prince, the horse in my new profile pic.
that's about the most beautiful and poetic thing I have ever heard. I will hold you in my heart over these next few days...
